You deserve a (new) star! [CARD SOLD]

Another request from the same friend who asked for “some birdy loves you”, this is the 4th “You deserve a star” card I have designed. I ran out of the usual star chipboards I used in the previous cards so I have to use this bigger chipboard, which looks a little overwhelming no doubt. I glued and dusted gold glitter onto the chipboard from scratch and in the process sniffed in a lot of gold powder lol, not to mention having glittery hands! Even though this is already the 4th version I made, it’s one of the most classic and versatile design I ever came up with , so I still love it to bits.

Card measures 6″x4″, is blank inside and comes with a white envelope.

I cannot remember how many versions of this card I made, I think this is the 3rd! 🙂 Requested by a friend, I decided to up the cutesy factor in this and make it as girly as possible ~

Be Happy & Free!

I wanted to make this card say “Happy Birthday”, simply because I love the design’s clean colors and if I made it a birthday card there’s a higher chance someone would pick it up. But the cute marine theme and the free spirited tone of this card just didn’t say “birthday” to me, so I decided to follow my heart and put in a message which I think this card really represents. When I see this card, I think “Be Happy & free!” It makes me feel like jumping into a small boat and sailing the seas by myself though I neither own a boat nor have the ability to sail!

The waves are stickers and the boat is a hand made cut-out. The words “Be Happy & Free” were stamped letter by letter with black ink.

My ideal situation is for someone to give this card to a birthday person who needs to hear this message or who is already living this message 🙂 Either way, if you know someone who would appreciate this card, get it for her / him!
