If you have a sweet tooth like me, you would love this card with all the sweet stuff in it. A cake, a sweet little heart and a box of candies, just the perfect combination to embody the sweetness of a sweet friend or your other half. Not to mention it comes in all sorts of pink with bling~ It’s a sweet card to give!

Does somebody you know rock? It may be someone who loves rock music or someone who actually plays in a band, you may even stretch the meaning figuratively to someone who “rocks”! Following the color scheme of the music themed paper behind, this card consists of mostly blues and blacks, making it a versatile card for both genders. The black guitar was hand cut and the word “rock” is a mixture of a sticker and ink stamping. Top it up with 2 complementary buttons and you get a more textured detail overall. I think this card is great for both penning a hello message or a birthday though I refrained from including the words “Happy Birthday” inside to avoid restricting the use of this card.

This is a reprise of an earlier version of ‘Wishing you joy” which I made. This time I used a blue paper that has a more grainy and vintage feel. The white frilly stems around the flowers are drawn free hand and cut manually so they are slightly different from the original. I like the way this card turned out because of the backing I used this time and am glad I cut the stems all right because it’s sort of hard when you are using the scissors along the curves. Oh yes, the dove is hand made too 🙂
