So glad we found each other :)

When I first saw this row of birdie stickers, this was the immediate message that flash across my mind. What cuter way to say “so glad we found each other” than depicting it through 2 different birds in a flock? Though some people may instantly see this as a “love” card because of the lovebird connotations but I think there should be no restrictions, and this card would serve equally well for a BFF! (I would give this to a soul sista!) Brown gingham ribbon is one of my faves in spicing up a card and since I haven’t used much of it lately, I thought adding a strip of it would be nice, love the flower orange button too 🙂

Hang in there (V3) [CARD SOLD]

Since I made the first “Hang in there” card, I’ve been tweaking the designs slightly and coming up with variations of the same concept. The previous cards were complicated and had “real clothes” hanging from the line but this time I wanted to keep everything 2D, for a simpler and cuter feel with a lot of primary colors and clean lines. (You can see V1 and V2 here) I personally like this version 3 a lot 🙂

Like I said previously, if you can’t be there to pat your friend on the back, you can try to send a card with your encouragement!

Rustic Goodness [CARD SOLD]

Pen a message for a friend or special one with this blue themed card that has some sort of a pastoral flavor to it. I inked the edges of the papers brown so as to create a more vintage feel. “FOR YOU” was stamped in plum colored ink to let it stand out against the blue yet retain the country feel. The key in the middle is the highlight of this card although its meaning can be interpreted in anyway. It may mean a key to one’s heart, a symbol of trust in friendship or it may even be seen merely as a pretty decoration to the card. Whichever it is, this card is a lovely piece to consider penning your message in.
